I just received this information tonight from Red, State President of the US Military Vets M/C, about USMV WillieBill's upcoming Memorial Service.

The Memorial Service will be held Monday, May 12, 2008, at the Fine Arts Auditorium, Northeastern State University, 609 N. Grand, Tahlequah, OK 74464.  Sorry, but I don't have a start time for the service.

The family has requested, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Dr. William Pipes Heck Scholarship Fund through the NSU Foundation, c/o Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, OK 74464

I hope there will be a good turnout from our Riding Community for this heartfelt occasion, and that all will have a good thought for WillieBill's family and for his fellow club members in this trying time.  Please pass this information on to anyone who can possibly attend, or who might donate to a good cause in the name of a good person and loyal Biker.  Take care of each other, and be watchful out there.

Hello, Friends--

I just heard from USMVMC Red yesterday.  I'm very saddened to report that their group was victimized by a Right-Of-Way violation on their way home from the OK Confederation Of Clubs Meeting on Sunday, and club brother WillieBill was killed in the wreck.  Apparently, a sixteen year-old driver was passing them at a high rate of speed, clipped WillieBill and knocked him off his bike, causing him to be run over by the cage behind him.  This irresponsible act shows why we work so hard to increase penalties for negligent drivers who hurt and kill others.  For now, please remember WillieBill's family and his club brothers in your thoughts and prayers as they cope with their grief and carry on--he will be missed.  Ride Free Forever, USMVMC WillieBill!

In Solidarity, and with Deepest Respects and Condolences,

Hi everyone,
I hate breaking news this way but its easier than telling everyone individually
Albert  "Fixxit" Legacy Vets /MC had a motorcycle wreck on Friday,
He is in the hospital now he broke his left leg and ankle. They are going to have to do surgery to put it all back together hopefully tomorrow, if not tomorrow then on Monday. He was riding his 56 pan head and a truck pulled out in front of him. Thankfully all that is broke is his left leg and ankle and a little road rash
If anyone wants to talk to him he is in room 218 at the Gainesville hospital
I am on my way back up there to be with him. So you can either reach me by cell or In his room at the hospital I will see about getting a direct number to his room for everyone tomorrow so that he can be reached.
Please pray for him.
I will try to keep everyone updated but if you want to call and check on him please feel free I am sure he would appreciate your calls.
Love ya
Dusti
4-8-2008 update
The wreck happened on 3-21 "Fix it" of chapter H LV m/c spent 7 days in NTMC and was transferred to Baylor Frisco on 3-27 surgery was performed on 3-28 to place what is commonly called a "fix it" or fixator or fixation device on his leg, he now has pins going into his leg and this device on the outside that is holding everything in place so that hopefully the bones will start to heal and new bone will grow and fix itself, he had what is commonly called a "tib-fib" break but its on the lower end  by the ankle. The ankle bone is also fractured and so are numerous bones in his foot, along with a bad break on his big toe and he also has a fracture below his knee plus some torn ligaments and tendons, good news on those if none were completely severed so  right now its pretty much a wait and see thing. They still don't know if they are going to have to fuse or possibly replace his ankle and part of the lower leg bones or if by some miracle that this will fix the break problems all on its own by allowing the pieces to grow back together.
I cant say enough about the doctors that helped ( Dr Lisa Roy our regular doctor who did everything in her power to get him the best surgeon possible) and Dr John Crates of Plano Orthopedic  that did the surgery, and is taking care of all the follow-ups and x-rays once a week to see how the healing is coming along.
We still have a long way to go prognosis is anywhere from 6 months if everything heals perfect to 18 months if they have to do a fusion or replacement before he will be able to walk on both feet without the aid of any crutches cane or wheelchairs.
Your prayers and good thoughts, Right now we are stuck in Texas staying in the apartment we first used when we got married before we moved to Oklahoma, its close to the doctors that he is seeing weekly so if anyone wants to visit or call please feel free. Hearing from his Brothers always helps. Thank you to those of you that have been calling and supporting him it has really meant a lot to both of us.
If you would like to talk to him he can be reached by email at fixitfromhell@sbcglobal.net or by phone 940 668 6491 or cell his 940 634 2205 and mine 940 736 5060
Again thank you for all your support

Mark Wayne Capps, 39, of Muskogee, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2007. He was born January 20, 1968 in Muskogee to Buddy and Kathy (Miller) Capps. Mark attended Hilldale High School and continued his education at Connors College graduating with an Associates Degree. Mark served his country three years in the U. S. Air Force where he was a firefighter. When stationed at Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska, Mark met Lorri Moore. The couple married in 1991 and were blessed with two children. Mark began a career with the Muskogee Fire Department as a firefighter in 1992. He loved sports and enjoyed coaching baseball and fifth and sixth grade football. Mark loved riding his Harley and rooting for his favorite team, the OU Sooners. He served almost fifteen year of service as a Muskogee Firefighter. Mark was promoted to driver in the last five years. He drove for his father Captain Buddy Capps during the year of 2006. Buddy was very proud to have his son by his side while fighting fires, making rescues, saving as many lives and as much property as possible. Mark and his father also enjoyed down time at the station between calls. Mark devoted his life and career to doing his very best to protect and serve his country and the city of Muskogee. He went above and beyond the call of duty on anything he was asked to do. If anyone needed someone to stand up for them he was your man. Mark always had your back. He was studying to become a member of the Haz-Mat team. His smile and humor will be forever remembered. His passing is a tragic loss to the fire department, the city of Muskogee and his family. We lost another brother last night Stanley "Stan" Wolford was killed last night, 04/26/07 while riding last at the intersection of Hiway 177 & Hazel Dell rd. in Pott County, seems Stan was riding southbound when a North bound cage driven by a 16 year old kid, got into the south bound lane to turn left and by trying to turn that way instead of a 90 degree turn like you are supposed too! caused Stan to hit him head on and our brother Stan died at the scene, please keep the Wolford family in all of our prayers, And I urge everyone who reads this to call the Pott County District Attorney Richard Smothermon's office and push for this young driver to be charged under the "Jaggers Law" Just because you are a youthful driver doen't make you exempt from the laws!!!!

Long time friend and brother Joseph Melvin Trotter "Bird Man" vnv/mc lost his battle with cancer last night at about 11pm 2 April 2007 more details as I have them!

Calvin Hill A former Oklahoma City firefighter died when his motorcycle collided head-on with a sport utility vehicle. was a member of the Wind and Fire Heartland Heat Chapter, one of our Confederation member groups.  I don't have any further information as to the wreck's cause , or upcoming funeral arrangements,

The hits just keep on coming! "LV" from the Rogues M/C was the motorcyclist killed at the intersection of SW 36th St. and S. Penn. Ave. in Oklahoma City late Monday night.  He was killed by Roberto Horres, a motorist in his 30s driving a white pickup truck, who was booked into jail on charges of negligent homicide and driving without a license. There are reports, unsubstantiated right now, that Horres is an Illegal Alien.  Police credit witnesses at the scene with physically preventing the driver from leaving the scene of the wreck while LV and his bike were lying in the street.  Please remember LV, his Family, and his Club Brothers in your thoughts and prayers as they do their best to handle this crisis.  Thanks for listening, Ride Safely and Aware, and I hope to see you soon, under better circumstances.
