I swear the weather man has it in for me this year!  he is predicting rain for Saturday and it is the Clinton poker run well I am looking thru the garage every where, for my bag that I keep my rain gear in and I can't find it anywhere! I finally just left with out it because it was getting late and I still don't like to ride in the dark! anyway the ole lady and I got on the bike with clothes and camera packed on behind! we made the trip over to Woodward real easy well except the fact I had lost the handicap foot peg on the right side for the ole lady I had made because she has not quite got the movement in her right knee after her knee replacement yet!
 So we had to make a couple of extra stops to let her stretch her leg! once there we got a room and then went to dinner at k-bobs then out to the Peppermint to say hi! while I was there I was talking to Nolan Fitz about the missing peg and he told me he had what I was looking for at his place we left the ladies in the care of Jennie and headed out to his place! not only did he have the peg I needed but he gave to a couple of spares to go with it and then helped me make one of the other pieces I needed out of some aluminum stock he had! from there I called Allen and he  gave me the last piece I needed  and helped me put it all together!  

now this is where I get to get on my soap box and remind you this is part of what being a biker is all about! we take care of our own! having said that it is ok to pay some one for doing what they do for a living or for parts don't get me wrong there! but we should help out or do for each other when we can! I want to thank both for the help! by the way I have already passed on one of the pegs he gave me as a spare to some one else who lost one!  I truly believe if you help some one out and except noting in return you will be helped two fold in return when you need it! it has worked for me for all my years of riding! Off my soap box now for a bit!

After we got the handicap peg working we headed back to the room to get some sleep! On Saturday morning we got up and hit the coffee shop and ran into Sarge & Judy enjoyed visiting with them! at this point I should have gone to Attwoods and bought a new rain suit but I figured I would be ok! it was just a light mist off and on!  anyway we headed back to the peppermint so we could sign in and get visit a bit before we left! I put my bag with my clothes in Judy's vehicle! so it was not in the way on the ride! well we made it out on the highway and part about 15 miles before we got any serious rain.  we got a few pic while we had Two lanes to ride in I could get over an let the Ole Lady shoot some pic! she was having a little trouble turning to get pic and some were fuzzy.
