I had to take advantage of who I know to get registered and still have time to get a few pic before the start time! I gathered up a few pic then headed out about 10 min early so I could get on top of the overpass at Britton rd and get pic of the pack! It doesn't seem to matter how many times I see a long pack like this it never seems to send chills up my back! I shot about 25 pic of the pack as it passed under me then got on my bike and headed out to join in with the ole lady on board with my camera, she was taking pic as we rode I tried to include some of these too! then a few at each stop along the way! at the first casino there as a highway patrolman! he was very nice I took time to shoot a pic where he and one of the other bikes cut up and acted like he was handcuffing him but in truth it was joking around! one thing that was not funny was later I found out some one saw all the bikes gathered at the casino and called the police thinking something illegal or some kind of trouble was going on! we have worked so hard to show we are regular people with good hearts! we were here to help raise money for MS and we did, lots of it too! but some small minded person had to take the hollywood perception of us and turn it into something bad! That saddens me greatly! after the last stop I headed back to thunder house and caught the last show of the stunt riders along with getting to hear Buck and 36 Inches play there hard rocking music! I have been watching these guys play for quite a while and they always rock the house!

After  all of that I wondered around taking a few pic of the girls on bikes and such till time for the auction! Oh now this is where the fun begins a signed Toby Keith guitar and I do believe a Vince Gill too! there were some other things auctioned off but I missed then in favor of a shot break for nature. Downed Bikers gave out the prizes for the poker run! $500 for worst hand and $2500 for best! now I'm sort of going to mention charity Etiquette and that "I didn't see" it this time! but also there is the old adage don't let your left hand know what the right one is doing when it comes to charity! so it may well have been done! I'm going to quote a segment of a piece I had in my stories section for a long time from Bandido Jaun "If you attend a charity event the key word is charity and you should share your winnings with them!"  now comes the presentation of awards the trophies were really nice engraved crystal I didn't get to see all of them they kept them in boxed so they would not get broken! I did manage to get a couple of them uncovered for a pic!  now the big prize the drawing for the bike!  It is getting better the first couple of years the person who won was not present! no big deal really but then last year the next to last of the ten finalist started the bike! the excitement was in the air and this year the first key started it! there were some nice things for the other 9 finalist though! then  Finally the last and most important part of this is the money that was raised For MS Bridge!   A check from "Downed Bikers" for $17,000, and from Thunder Run a check for $40,200 added together that is          $57,200.
