Well the first thing I will say I sure hope I can get caught up soon! this is driving me nuts! Sam and all the rest put in a good party to start with I had just got home from the snake hunt and shit started to happen again!  Oh well,  this event happens almost in my back yard compared to some of the things I go to. It is only 12 miles from the house! I rode over on Friday night to check out a little of what was going on! mostly people partying and having fun but the show didn't really start till Saturday! anyway for a change about 12:30 I headed home to sleep in my own bed. man that was nice!

I got up Saturday morning and gathered up my camera and headed back over! I got there in time to catch the first set of stunts the extreme riders did!  they did some new stunts this year with one new guy! on the team. I managed to catch a couple of shots where the guys are completely free of the bike! on top of all that there were lots of folks that I had not seen in a while so I had some fun visiting with them too. I managed to get some pic of the antique bikes Sam had there and the Nascar cars that were there! of course there are lots of custom bikes here at this and they are all good  but one caught my eye! he called it the cowboy custom! most of the unique pieces were hand crafted! one of a kind!

adapted items, from the inset on the tail pipe to the lever action handles from a Winchester for the clutch and brake, to the shell casing made into a highway peg! rifle barrels bent and welded to make a sissy bar and another one for the kick stand! a cow bell for the head light casing and a horseshoe for a break pedal. a pistol cylinder turned into a throttle grip! welded barb wire for a shifter rod and much more!  this bike was cool! I think the fact that he has to adapt all the pieces from something else makes it more creative and unique! and when I saw that image in the mirror I just couldn't resist the implications that go with it!  I caught another show from the stunt riders and then that crazy guy that has a jet strapped to his back!  I got to see another of my old friends out and about! it was good to see him he even let me take a pic of him! I also saw a few patches at this one I had never seen! ask permission and got it to shoot pic of them! caught some cool  tats too! several celebrities were here as well and I want to thank all of them for putting up with me! especially the big Swag at every turn he would stop and pose with everyone! I also want to thank all the guys that let me pose a young ladies on there bike! the ladies liked it and they made great pic too! a little after midnight it started to get pretty cool and most everyone with a bike headed home so the fun kind of died off and I made my way home too! Sunday morning I got up and gathered up my gear and the ole lady so I could get registered for the poker run! I should have done it on Friday when it want busy but I wasn't sure the lady could make it!
