I rode thru Enid and got caught in the construction! by caught I mean I was running up thru the gears and hit about 50 when I saw blue lights on the side of the road opps! I quickly slowed down to the posted speed! the patrolman waved his radar gun to let me know he got me smiled and let me pass! there are some good cops out there! I would normally have run thru town about the speed limit anyway but always seem to get over it till I get in the higher gears! something about that torque under your butt! the rest of the trip was pretty uneventful except it was getting cold by the time I got there! I set my tent up in plenty of time to make town before dark! I got a few pic that evening but it was a bit slow in town I did enjoy visiting with friends though! Saturday morning I got up and headed over to the CMA camp for some breakfast I even took some jelly to go with it! I think most of the CMA had eaten but the time I got there but I left it for them to try! the pancakes and sand plum jelly were great along with sausage! I noticed they has lots of sand buggy people stopping by too! this is a good thing! I managed to get free in time to go get gas for the bike and make my way over to the rodeo grounds in plenty of time for the rodeo along with find me a partner for the games! mine friend Tina had not showed! the girl I got had never tried the games so we did a short trial run out side the arena!

 now if you have never played in this crowd of bikers I will tell you if you win a plaque or trophy you earned it! These guys take this rodeo serious! and they come to win! we started the rodeo off with a flag ceremony including the pledge of allegiance  by the VNV/MC followed by the singing or our National Anthem! this was followed by CMA doing a bike blessing and a prayer! then let the games begin! slow races were first with about 25 playing! man this was stiff completion Red, Lee Jackson, Capt. Abate, Wide Dawg, Joey from over at Pryor. and the list goes on! first round goes to abate nw69! then the doubles slow race nephew bet out his uncle! with Wide Dawg and Capt. Abate followed by the barrel push!  Lee got that one!  then we did the tater race! my new partner and i set a time on the first go that held till the last rider and lee and his wife beat us by 3 seconds! this girl riding with me was still excited to win a trophy on her first try! then we took a short break and let the kids have a little fun with an Easter egg grab even though it is the weekend after! we followed this with the winnie bite and Joey and his wife snatched the only trophy for the Pryor crowd!  there is a little rivalry her between these two chapters but all in fun! the last event was the barrel race and Red took that one! there was an Elvis sighting and rumor that he sang to one of the ladies! we cleaned up the area and all headed back to camp! the party is on then!
