well I'm going to start this a bit different because it kind of started that way! I had to go all the way to Corpus Christie Tx for a funeral just before this and while I was there I got an odd call at my house! a person called herself Bitty told my wife I needed to give Pawhuska a refund because it had been more than 6 months and I didn't have pic up yet! Now I'm slow some times I know but sometimes life gets in the way of progress too! as it turns out my wife called me to find out just as I was getting ready to attend services for a friend! Carey Davis some of you snake hunt people knew him because we camped in his moms yard! 

well the call didn't make me any to happy so I told my wife I would call Nelson when I returned to get it straight! my wife called them back and told then I would call Nelson and  there was some back peddling!  well it turns out that some one is up set with Nelson and trying to make  trouble for Pawhuska! so if you hear a bunch of shit chances are it is not true! kind of like me not getting the pic up! just for the record those were up the end of Oct,  about normal for that time of year! I run between 2 weeks and 2 months behind! I try to save some of the last ones to post during the winter months so you have some to look at and give you something to look forward too! this past year I was way behind but life did really get in the way! sorry! Ok back to the snake hunt I got home from the funeral late 

Thurs evening got up Friday morning trying to get some shit done before I left! things like a new front tire and brakes too! oil changed! I got every thing loaded and listen to the weather man one last time (cold nights)  well like someone else said At least this year there is no snow to ride in! that one will go down in my story book at an adventure to remember and tell stories to my grandkids about! I did leave in pretty brisk wind but not too bad! I had plenty of warm clothes on I took a slightly different route to get there because I planned to stop and see a friends new house! it was supposed to be on the way haha! I headed up highway 74 thru Crescent and on to Covington when I got to the highway to Enid (64) I thought 

I missed the turn to this little burg but no it was 16 miles north of there! all of you know I will ride an extra mile any time but I was running late and like to get there before dark! oh well on north! I finally called him and got better directions! I found his place and got to see his new bike! but the visit was short because he was making plans to go back to Az. to  his moms funeral! once I was ready to leave I realized I had to back track about 30 miles to get to the snake hunt! oh well more miles but later getting in!
