once the girls got marked
on they got down to some serious business of entertaining the crowd! at
least the girls did! after the stage show I hung around and shot some of
the girls in the crowd and listen to the band till way late at night!
after the crowd got down to about 20 I wondered off to bed! still
listening to the band as drifted off to sleep! I woke up about 8:30 in the
morning I have no idea why I woke up so early but i crawled out of
bed and made my way over to CMA for a cup of coffee! while I was there
they fed me! it is a great group! if you haven't stop by and visit some
time! from there I wondered around a bit and shot some random shots
till time for the flag raising ceremony this is a tradition here at
Pawhuska before we start the games we take time to honor our flag! then
let the games begin starting off with the slow race now for the first time
in a while I got beat out by a young one from Florida! we raced to
the end of the track and about 2 or three feet from the end I got
crosswise and put my foot down! the young one earned it! I never mind
loosing when they earn it I just hate it when I screw up! even the girls
seem to be getting involved in the slow races these days! one made a real
good showing all dressed in pink! next we did the doubles slow race
followed by the exhibition 3 up slow race! some of us have been having a
good time doing this and entertaining the crowd! it really isn't about who
wins but how much the crowd enjoys the show. well we also enjoy playing
too! it gives us a chance to sharpen our riding skills! well

next on the list was the biker bowling
for the girls and then for the guys! followed by the winnie bite and then
the kick start contest! after all the games were done then we took a break I
went back to camp and picked up some stuff I needed and headed back toward
camp shooting pic as I went! and then the tattoo contest started! I just
barely got back in time to shoot pic as they were judging them! I'm glad I
was not the judge at this one there was some good art here! then it was time
for the final 8 for the bike show! and then more tattoos! and a young one
showed up to claim the title of longest hair! after all the awards and
contest I was back out among the crowd! over by the ABATE boot I managed to
Garry adding a couple of new shades of lipstick under his kilt! now for
years when you ask what a man has under his kilt he would say lipstick and
on a good day multiple shades! well this night he got at least too besides
the one he has tattooed on his hip! I also got some of the pretty
ladies to show off a bit! we also got to hear some really good music to
include Judge Parker Band! every one has a good time here! and there were
more of the old crowd back to enjoy the fellow ship! all day Saturday the
place was fuller than it has been! which is a good thing. but it also means
there are some new faces too! after judge parker entertained the crowd a
while they took a break and Holms and Bruno tuned up a good stage show to
keep everyone for a while with the help of some lovely ladies of
course! and they put on a great show, and once again it was "skin to win" this took us all
the way into the wee hours of the morning and I stayed up for a bit more!
then headed back to camp!
