I went to sleep to the sound of rain on my tent and it was there most of the night! actually the lack of it is what woke me up Saturday morning! I think it was about 9 when I had to get up to pee! it was cool enough to sleep late,  that didn't take long so I went to CMA and got some coffee! while I was there they feed me! I messed around most of the morning just visiting and trying to get around the mud that the rain! I was looking at the game field and thinking no way can we play there!  I was trying to take a few pic when I noticed a slow race going on good thing I had my bike up by the stage. I had been keeping my eye on the game area and they moved them over in front of the stage! not as many played this year, I guess they were thinking like I was the game area was too soft. all the gravel in front of the stage was packed hard enough to not be soft! so that is where we played! we got all the games played from barrel roll, to triple slow race! bowling ball toss, lots of fun they even managed to work in a kick start contest! and of course the winnie bite!  after a short break they followed with a tattoo contest! Garry and another judged it I  just took pic!  because of all the rain the crowd was down so I actually had a bit of time to visit with some old friends! and some good music to boot. in spite of the rain and mud and cold we all had a good time and before I knew it it was midnight and time for the skin to win contest! I am including the last pic I took of Smokie he will be greatly missed! he was bright and positive to the end! I talk to him on stage and he told me how he beat it all and was going to be fine!
