Well I got out of
the house on time for a change! with the exception of a little road work
the trip was smooth no rain just the wind in my face! the kind
of ride you enjoy to its fullest. I almost didn't want to stop but lots of
friends are waiting on me! I always enjoy the party here and have
only missed two since I started riding back in Okla. anyway I pulled in
and had my tent set up at my usual spot by 6:30!

Then it was out and about to visit with friends and take
some pic! it didn't take me long to find some pretty ladies and fine
tattoos to photograph along with some not so pretty brothers! this party
is kind of like a family reunion sometimes you will see one for 5 or 6
years then you wont see them for a few then they will be back! along with
that sometimes you will hear why they are not there and other times you
won't when you don't you wonder why not and worry! there was one little
girl I has not see for a couple of years that showed up and it was so good
to see her I guess I have known her since she was about 8 or 9yrs old! I
got a big hug from her and found out how her mom and sisters were doing
too! we had some tunes by Judge Parker followed by Curtis Moore band!while
I was out taking pic and the next thing I knew it was time for the stage
show so I made my way downtown or to the stage area if you
will!

The stage show as
usual was great to watch and Smokie marked up the girls and then they
entertained us with dance! I like to get a few pic of people watching and
working the show and even a show not on the stage once in a while! some
times I zoom in a bit and take a unique pic like the tats. all I
have to do is look around a little! some where about 2 in the morning I
ate my nightly corndog and then found my way back to camp and laid down
for the night!

Saturday morning I got up and had coffee with the folks at
CMA as usual! if I get there in time they usually feed me too. after
coffee I gathered up my camera and headed downtown to make sure I was
there for the flag raising ceremony. this year it was done by the American
Vets/MC accompanied by the Leathernecks/MC then there were a couple
of weddings before the games began!
There were plaques and prizes for the winners of the games!
and of course cash because they do "a $1 buy in" winner takes
all! I got the money for the slow race! then
