I look in review mirror and see him turning around, Shit well as it turns out Ill is the only state I travel where secondary highways are still 55 mph. ok now he is telling me  I need to be careful out here because of the deer ! I’m trying to get in before dark so I can see them if they are moving! And I told him that he tells me I’m not going to make it I’m still 30 min out, my main thought is I’m only 15 miles from the camp what is he thinking! but he still writes me a ticket. 
Oh well you will get one now and then. Even though I was detained by 15 min I still made Hog Rock before dark. 
Well Tim York had done a bunch of work on the place and paved the roads in the camp ground actually shoot and chip! And he also had made several other changes there so I had a hard time finding my normal camp site, but I was in there about the time it got real dark! JJ was working so he had moved to some place with air conditioning! Can’t say I blame him it was hot and sticky there. I guess since there was water over the a bunch of the camp till Tuesday that explains the sticky! I went and found some one once I got to camp and lo and behold it was my friend Misty!Well I got my house set up and headed out to take some pic! I stopped my CMA’s tent for some water right off and took time to visit a few min then headed down toward the stage! I got there just in time to catch the show! The first night I didn’t see too many folks I know but met some new ones!

About 230 I had had enough fun for one day and headed to bed! I was beat. I laied down but but it was so hot It took a while to go to sleep! I woke up on Friday morning about 9 because it was still pretty cool under the shade trees of camp! I made my way to CMA for some coffee and then back to camp for a bit of visiting with misty and her husband! On Friday I started to see some people I know and enjoyed the reunions most of theses people I only see twice a year at most and some not but once! I did have to sit out several hours of Friday do to rain where ever shelter was available! So a lot of Friday was lost but I did get to talk to friends most of the time I was waiting!
Once during the rain I ran into a man wanted to photograph but at the last second I saw club colors so I stopped to ask permission first im kind glad I did because it gave me a chance to get to know him a bit better! Highway, it was a pleasure to meet you! We seem to have lots in common! I enjoyed the time we has to talk! At this point I have to give a little plug for Bag Lady Sue! She did a performance for a crowd out in the rain! Not only did she stay out there and do her gig the crowd stayed to see her! The pic show how wet she is doing her show! And even the rain on the stage! When she got done she was soaked to the bone! I took pic from the shelter of the stage! Well if you have never seen her act you need to!
