This  was the second time this year I headed out to Hawg Lakes for a party. it isn't a long ride, out onto I-35 slide down to I-40 watching out for bad drivers east on I-40  about 40 miles to highway 102 south make a right and then 10 more miles left into the camp ground!  As I was going in I did notice a few up grades to the roads! where there was gravel before going up to and way from the bridges there was now pavement! and where some of the roads were soft he has a layer of shoot and chip! that is a good thing! I found a camp spot just  past the Hands of Prayer Booth!  it didn't take long to set up camp after 

I studied the shade so the sun would not wake me too early! then it was grab the camera and head out to see what there was to photograph! the crowd was pretty light on thurs evening! lots of folks can't get off  work. I called it a night after the last band! and hit the rack! I got up about 830 in the morning on Friday! headed over to the hands of prayer camp and got some coffee took time to visit there, then made my way to CMA camp to have my second cup! ok well actually I think I drank two at each place so I had consumed 96oz of coffee so I had to go to get rid of some of it.

from there I went back to camp and picked up my camera and headed down to the game area! took a couple of pic along the way and then waited for the games to start! all the games and I  played in all of them except the ones where you throw shit!  I was having trouble with my left shoulder and had a knot under the shoulder blade so that was out of question! well after all the games were over I took a short break in the shade to grab a bite to eat and sit in the shade a bit! even got a bite to eat while I was there! then it was back to the party! with a mix of drinking partying music and finally a stage show!  then it was off to bed till I woke up about 8am. 

as usual I headed over to the CMA tent to get some coffee sat around and visited for a while before going back to camp to get my camera then I made my way back down the game area and started shooting some pic of the bike show.  then the awards then we started the games I stayed out of them today. my shoulder was still acting up and I was pretty  sure why. I was coming home from Woodward during the week in my truck when I hit a cow! damn black cow at 10 pm on the road didn't see him in time to stop! anyway I said I didnt play but i did one game that was the three up slow race just had too, shouldn't have but did!   just couldn't resist!
