I got out the door later than I wanted to because there was a chance of rain and I hate to ride in the rain after dark and I knew with the heavy cloud cover it would get dark early not to mention it was getting cold out! damn it is way too early in the year to get cold! well I went north on broadway road to highway 33 took a left and headed to highway 74 turned north and went thur Cresant! and no north to highway 51 turned west again! it was spitting off and on but not enough to get my pants wet! when I got to Hennessey instead of going north  into Enid I went straight about 9 miles to highway 132 then north thru Drummond to highway 64 and west again! to Westlake Camp ground!  

 I was expecting a friend of mine and her husband to be there since they had just joined abate and were looking forward to the party! I checked in at the gate then made my way to my usual camp spot! it took me about 20 min to set up camp! then I set out to let some people know I made it ok! there are a couple of venders that if I don't check in I get into trouble! huh Pinkie?  I did take time to get my camera out and working! so from there i was taking pic and visiting oh and by then trying to stay warm good thing I brought warm clothes! jutebox was spinning disk and a few people were singing to those tunes! not me I can take pic but if I try to sing the whole camp would pack up and go home!

Friday night we mostly spent time hanging out by the fire barrels staying warm! but anytime you get brothers and sisters together it is a good time! about midnight i finally gave up trying to stay warm and went to bed crawled in between my heavy quilt and went to sleep as soon as I got a warm spot! I woke up a couple of times in the night when i moved in my bed roll and let cold air in! but as soon as I got the gap closed I went back to sleep!  well till about 830 in the morning then I gave up and went to pee! "Coffee" had to look for that but one vender hooked me up! I visited while I drank 3 cups while standing by a heater! I missed the poker run!  then finally got my camera out and started taking pic of the bike show entries. then the tattoo contest followed by awards for the bike show then the games followed! 

We played both bike games and some people games! started with the slow race I kind of had a boo boo leaving when some walked in front of me! hit him or hit the ground you know what i did!  lost a hiway peg but we got it fixed intime for me to play agian because they slid in a couple of  people games  while /i fixed it!  my friend went to town and got me a bolt i needed to fix it! we did the winnie drop and the egg roll,  then we did the double slow race! then capt abate and I did a show off three up and four up slow race just for fun! then we went on to do the barrel roll! followed by the plunger race! then the tater race followed by the winnie bite! at the end I got a found a really ugly bearded lady in a green skirt to do the winnie bite,
