I wasn't sure I was going to make this one! about a week before it I tweaked my back and was living Tylenol and mussel  relaxers. I could hardly stand up let alone walk anywhere. There is that whole thing about giving your word and I had! So I loaded up my bike with a little help and then got it stood up with a little more help and headed out! this was going to be a tough ride! I stopped and filled the bike up between my legs so I didn't have to lean it over. from there I hit I-35 and headed north. I am sure glad I-35 is not as rough as I-40 I would not have made it! I gritted my teeth every time I hit a bump
I think the trip up I-35 only took About 50 min but it seemed more like three hours!  then the rest of the way to Kaw lake seemed like two more hours,  It is one of the only times I didn't enjoy the whole ride! I finally made it to the camp ground! I got a hug when I got there and almost dropped my bike!  well I eased up to my camping spot and started setting up my tent. this was no easy chore either! most of it I did on my hands and knees because it didn't hurt that way. once I got it all laid out and ready I kind of crawled over and used my stool to help me get up. then set the poles!

I finally got everything inside and my air mattress aired up my camera unpacked and put together and then it was time to go to work! once I got straight I had no plans to do any more bending over!  I did shoot a few pic around camp before heading down to the pavilion. 

once down there I I started with some of the folks present and the fun they were having.  I got word from my friend Pinkie that I was in trouble I had been there for almost 2 hours and had not checked in to let her know I was there! she also told me I forgot to check in with my ole lady to let her know I got there safe! she had called Pinkie to see if she had seen me. well I went down to her booth and saw her and then called home to check in! then back to the pavilion to get some more pic. they has a mechanical bull and some of the girls were having fun with it.   a couple of the guys had a little of the fun with the bull too!
