Well the weather man is saying rain on Friday late afternoon ok so what is new about that this year! The best thing I can think to do is just go ahead and leave early so I get there before the rain so I have a dry spot to put stuff! I headed out about 3pm and made it to Pink in about an hour! with all the rain the ground was pretty soft in places but the area where I camped was high enough to not  to be too bad! I set up camp and headed out to take pic! of course there is always some visiting with friends going on while I take pic! I got a few pic before the rain came at which time I ducked into a few venders tents to keep my camera dry! I spent almost an hour and a half sitting in Harley Girls  Slushy booth !  

The rain finally came to a stop just like the weather man said! haha! after the rain stopped every one oooohhed and ahhhhed over the double rainbow!  of course they came out to party too! and party they did! some great tunes and lots of fun! then they were calling for all the girls to come sign up for the home made bikini contest! no one showed up so they put on some more tunes! well into the night! about the time the band Quit and every one moved over to the karaoke stage a couple of girls came up to do the bikini contest! a bit late! anyway when the last of the partiers were collecting at the karaoke I decides it was time for bed! I made my way back to camp and called it a night.    

I slept late on sat morning mostly because it was cool! and cloudy so it didn't get bright till about 9:30 once I got up I made my way down to the CMA tent for some coffee. then made my way around to start taking pic of the bike show,  we were of course trying to find  dry place to have the games because of all the rain.  we did infact find  spot that was kind of dry, but still a little slick.  It didn't cause much problem except for the timed games like the tater race and tater smash! and then my back tire kept trying to slip out from under me, it actually helped me because the front tire bogged down in the mud slowing me down! 

I want to mention here that Allen changed up his trophies they are hand made! last year they were cutting boards cut into unique shapes! I ended up with a bar and shield! and one other! my daughter made off with! this year they were hand made cedar boxes! my ole lady took both of then I got! she has them on the dresser with stuff in them!  ok back to the games in spite of all the mud we had lots of fun. there was no huge cloud of dust in the tire drag but some muddy faces! of course there are several games I don't play in the tire toss and the tire drags I don't drink so
