There was still a steady flow of riders coming at me on I-35. At Remington Park. They would not let me take my camera in so I didn't stay long and headed back to Thunder House for the finish! it was a nice ride! I got the word that there were over 3500 riders in the poker run!
well back to the party at hand. there were people every where the stunt show is pretty cool even though I have seen a lot of it before! the hi flying stunts make me wonder about them! I actually missed one shot where the guy did a roll over above his bike about 40 feet in the air! I got the one of him not touching his bike just flying above it! Pinkie and the Snake Shakers tickled our ears with some blues too! then came the big moment where they drew names for the bike give away! ten names all lined up! during the break while they were giving all ten a chance to gather Swag started auctioning off a guitar signed by Toby Keith! well the guy standing beside me bidding finally decided it was too rich for his blood and then took over as auctioneer come to find out he is a professional at it! from there the bid went up and lots of money was raised! I can't remember the total Downed Bikers gave out the prize money for the poker run! then it was time to give the bike away! they had some one lined up to represent everyone with a key and at the last second a guy showed up to take his own place. Swag ask him what he was going to do with it! he told him he would ride the wheels off it! As it turns out we will get to see if that is true because he is the one that won the bike! now comes the most important part how much money the biker community raised for a good cause!
I think Swag said it best bikers are some of the most giving people there are! They will show up and dig deep for almost any cause there is! Well after all that excitement all that is left is the pack up and clean up! I tore down the set for my ole lady and loaded it in the van then headed home all 12 miles!
