Well now this is a good short story when it comes to my trip to Lake Perry first there was not a damn thing that went wrong no rain no road blocks, I know where the one speed trap is on my way there and I slowed down before I got there! I mean they have had a speed stop set up at the same bridge/ over pass for the past 4 years! you just know to slow down there! I got gas just before I got on I-35 my nest stop was at the rest stop on the turnpike in Kansas I got Gas there went to the next stop which was where I get off to go  to Highway 24 to go to Lake Perry I got gas at the first little station there like I said I knew where the speed trap is so the whole trip was smooth sailing! just a nice ride in the warm afternoon sun! how much more can you say about it! 

Ok so I get to Lake Perry and check in no problems there! I did get a request from one of the girls there to get a pic of them working the gate! since they usually get forgotten! IO told her as soon as I got my camp setup I would come back and do just that! while I was there I also noticed some folks from Nebraska were there spending there money in a state that allows freedom of choice! that is one way to affect the laws in a state spend your money elsewhere! from there I made my way back to the big top and vender row where I checked in with some friends to let them know I was there safe! I also took time to visit with several folks I know around the tent! taking pic as I went! I ran into the bride to be and got pic of her before and after they painted he up! since the dj didn't make it the first night we had a guest artist in the big top! but everyone was still having a good time with out it! 

You know we just enjoy getting together and visiting we talk about what we have done since the last time we saw each other some drink beer and other drink what ever! me I drink water!  every one was having  a grand time! I headed down to the stage area and shot a few pic of the band but I have a hard time getting any in the crowd down there because of the darkness! even my camera doesn't do well in total dark! some where after 2 I hit the rack and went to sleep! it was a nice night for sleeping cool enough to be comfortable under a blanket but not too cool! I actually slept till about 8:30 in the morning then I got up and made my way over to CMA and enjoyed some coffee and a few donuts with them! wondered round a bit till time for the games and took my bike down there so I could play!

this is the first year I have played at Lake Perry! oddly enough I didn't do to well! not even one plaque! I had to work just to get someone to ride with me in the winnie bite but she did get a bite just not big enough to win she did good for a first timer though!  the slow race now that one was strange I fought my bike the whole time and couldn't figure out why! then I got a different person to do the tennis ball race I only did three games but then Dirty Dave and I did an exhibition triple slow race!
